CxRA Meets CIA

This past spring, Restaurant Associates, along with the Culinary Institute of America opened up “The Egg,” a brand new student dining center at the renowned school’s Hyde Park, New York campus. Last week, CxRA had the pleasure of setting up shop at The Egg for the CIA’s Board of Trustees Reception. With celebrity chefs Thomas Keller, Charlie Palmer, Michael Mina, and Roy Yamaguchi in attendance, we were so excited to be there and ready to have some fun. On the menu:

Seasonal small bites included Tequila Cilantro Smoked Salmon Wonton Cones, Foie Gras Petit Cannoli, and Cuban Sandwiches

The Ocean seafood bar featured Diver Sea Scallops, Gulf Shrimp and Maine Lobster and assorted Sushi and Nigiri Rolls

A special Hudson Valley station was a hit of the night featuring fresh harvest produce pairings served in mini jars.

At the heart of the party was CxRA’s signature Social Bar, distinctively arranged to encourage our bartenders to engage with guests over our unique selection of wines, spirits and craft beers.
