A Menu Fit for Royalty

When Will and Kate tied the knot in 2011, we finally came to terms with the fact that we would (probably) never become royalty.  Well, this past week we were at least able to FEED royalty!

On Tuesday evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge concluded their NYC visit with a CxRA-catered event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art honoring the 600th anniversary of St. Andrews, the school where they first met and fell in love (awww!).

Needless to say, the menu was fit for a (future) king and queen.

Small bites included Crispy Spinach Gnocchi with Roasted Garlic Parmesan Dip, Butternut Squash Pizzas, and Mini New York Soft Pretzels with Mustard Dipping Sauce.

The main course featured a duo of Sliced Mushroom Crusted Tenderloin of Beef and Cedar Plank Scottish Salmon with a Scottish Ale Reduction.

Sweets included Sticky Toffee Pudding with Crème Caramel Gelato and Praline Brittle and Warm Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Honey Poached Pears and Vanilla Gelato.
